NMTA MASTERCLASS has a Master Teacher teach and coach the students in a mini lesson in the Bethel College Chapel. The student usually plays the memorized/non-memorized piece and then the teacher will guide them with new ideas to make the piece even more interesting. Teachers choose their student who wishes to participate. The lesson may be 15 minutes or 30 minutes long. This event is usually in November.
NMTA PIANO EXPRESSIONS is a recital held during the January meeting in the Bethel College Chapel. The teachers submit the names of their students who will play a piece that goes with the chosen theme for the evening.
